Yay! I went to Wholly Craft today - how neat! Since the rent is due today I only spent $4 (on a zine, a fabric remnant, and some piping) but I definitely will be spending more in the future.

lissalush: it is about 4 blocks south of Rag-o-rama. Since the construction on High street is finished now, there is lots of free parking right on the street.  I asked about selling, and here is what she told me: consignment works on a 55/45 split on a 60 day contract. At first they will probably accept only 1 or 2 of your items to see if they sell; if they do, more to follow. It is a fairly small store, so she said space has a lot to do with how many items they can accept.

I'm in Dayton, but I am sort of familiar with Clintonville...is this close to RagORama? It sounds great. Has anyone who has been there talked to them about selling items there?

I've got a few things there - they have limited space, so you can't expect to put a ton of stuff in there at once, but they're doing 2 month consignments, after 2 months you can discount or pick up / rotate stock/ whatever you agree to, 45% consignment rate (you get 55%), and Olivera, the girl who runs it, is super easy to get along with.

Rag-O-Rama's right on my corner! Wholly Craft is three or four blocks north of there. I didn't talk to the woman running the store (I'm guessing she's the owner, but I'm not totally sure), but my friend talked to her a bit, and she sounded really open to carrying more stuff -- it sounds like she sells 'em on consignment. If you make a trip, I'd bring some of your stuff to show.

Yeah, when I was talking to her for a little bit she said to bring some stuff in the next time I was there.  She sounds like she wants to explore all avenues, and is pretty nice to boot.

YES! I love this store!  I've told all my friends about it and they love it and have told all their friends...I've been procrastinating to go over there and show her my stuff to see if she wants to sell them...You can't believe how happy I am that Columbus, ohio finally has its own DIY crafting consignment store!!

and the outside is painted bright pink!!!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
