I grew up going to this craft fair. A lot of old ladies but it seems to be modernizing. Just be strong willed about the baked goods. Its impossible to go home with out some home made fudge. *drools*

The 25th annual Christmas Craft Fair, hosted by the McGavock Orchestra Parents Association, will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Only exhibitors who have quality goods, hand made, and/or hand assembled will be accepted. Imported or flea market type items are NOT permitted. Food items and select specialty items can only be sold with permission of the Craft Fair Chairperson. Booth rental fee is $50 for a 12 x 6 space, which includes 2 chairs. Please bring your own table(s) for display. All new applicants must submit a picture of their crafts for approval by the Chairperson. Electrical outlets are available in a limited number of booths. For more information contact Mike or Janie Meeks at 872-0364 or at 885-8550 ext. 191.

This event features hundreds of vendors and attracts thousands of shoppers, and is well publicized. Funds raised help support the high schools orchestra program throughout the year. Students will be available Friday night and all day Saturday to help vendors as needed. McGavock High School is located in the Donelson area of Nashville, at the corner of McGavock Pike and Two Rivers Pkwy, near Opry Mills.
