Shipleychick, I thought I'd go ahead and post of a picture of Mr. Ostrich since I never did; I hope you don't mind or think I'm ruining the surprise. Here he is in all his smug glory (I mean, can you blame him? Look at that plummage!). He's a handful but I think you'll find he's also a ton of fun. Don't let him keep you out too late...

That is such a cute ostrich.
Prepare to be awed by the awesomeness sent to me by Phizzychick:
Here is Red Ted's suitcase and contents. I wish there was some scale reference, but this stuff is tiny and sooo detailed. It included an "english breakfast for the journey" and picture of "Mum and Dad" it says so on the back, a little british passport and a blankie embroidered with RT and a heart. I was literaly cooing as I opened this stuff up and my housemate ended up running out of her room cause she thought I might be crying.

And here is a page from the booklet than came with him and a loveley bookmark / card thanking me for hosting him on the back. I also included the inside detail of the passport here and you can get some idea of scale cause the booklet is about one eighth a sheet of paper. Also the stuff is photographed on gorgeous fabric Red Ted came wrapped in.

Can you believe this stuff?!! So just checking, but the way I see it the suitcase and contents belong to Red Ted and should be returned to him, but I get to keep the amazing card and booklet. I was also wondering about the fabric, cause it's so gorgeous, but I know I really should be returning it.. you can't blame a girl for trying.. Wink
Ok and here is Red Ted himself greeting some of the household:
Mr. Bear

Mewy one of my housemate's Kitties

and the new Puppy who had very bad form and shook hands with her mouth and won't be spending much time with Red Ted from now on.. don't worry he is unharmed, but I think a little shocked at American manners Wink

Sorry for the crazy long post, but I just had to share all the cuteness.

Sorry I've been absent! Can't wait to chill with you all again Smiley

Wow- this stuff is great. I couldn't help but laugh by seeing that little guy meeting everyone in the family. The bear and him are so cute.  Cheesy

He he, glad you liked - I amused myself sooo much making them all!

You're welcome to keep them as I didn't really intend for the suitcase and material and all to come back as it adds to the postage cost. I tried to pack him in things that could be useful and used again like the material and soft-toy filling - really, all the pleasure was in the making and that you enjoyed receiving them! Smiley
