It was just my littlest daughter's birthday (6) and I decided it would be nice to sew some drawstring pouches as goodie bags. Apparently I lost most of my ability to think straight just 1 day before the party and thought it would be great to embroider the names onto patches and stitch them to the bags.  I remembered to snap a picture right before leaving for the party so it's not the best:

Thankfully there were only 10 girls (did I really say only?) and I must say, they came out very cute all frayed and patchy. The girls were very excited about them too.

What a great idea!  Hopefully they will keep them for years to come (I know I kept any sort of cool bag I came upon when I was little!)

C'mon, I think most of us Craftsters share this same need to make everything just a little bit better than it is.... right?

Very cute!!!

I made goody bags for my Daughter's Birthday one year too.

Didn't do the embroidered names though which is a really nice touch!

Great work!!!
