I apologize for the scariness of the picture. I'm not on crack, I swear.

I decided, while sitting in my sewing class, that I was going to make a hat. But not just any old hat, I was going to make the hat of my dreams; the OMG. Why? Because on Gaia, it's the hat I always wanted. And yeah, I know rosemary an AFK. I followed her tutorial pretty much except for the details.

Yay!! Pictures!! And sorry luvs, no tutorial with this one. I couldn't take pictures of the construction process, my school has something against students and electronics. No cameras, cell phones, cd players, etc. *rolls eyes*

100% Handsewn, due to my lack of faith in myself when it comes to the sewing machine. The tail is stuffed with polyfill because I didn't want a limp, floppy tail. Th\at was the hardest part of the whole thing actually, attatching the tail. In the end I sewed it on one of the triangular panals (there's five), and added extra fabric at the bottom to made it more "3D". Black fleece, white felt, black thread, and white embroidery thread.

I could of bought one of these on Genkigang.com for $30, or from Gaia's site for $25. But why do that when I could abuse the school's fabric and make myself one for free?  Grin

Sweet, I made on myself last year and it was so fun. I've gotten so many compliments on it. Smiley

Anyhow, that's great! It looks really great and super cozy as well, I'm sure it'll keep you warm for the long winter months to come...

Thank you everyone!

If anyone actually wants to find me on Gaia, my username is D e l i r i o u s, or you could look for my mule account, Nicky Boy.

I'd KILL for one of these on Gaia. Heh, if you wanna donate me one... Cheesy

A girl actually PMed (private messaged) me on Gaia asking for the pattern, saying she'd give me avatar for it. So when I do sketch it out I'll post it here as well.
