bestyjean - you get cured real quick of sticking stuff in your hair after you spend enough time in an architecture school studio.  one of my friends one came waaaaay to close to sticking an exacto knife into her bun . ..

you can also thread the unneeded needle thru the knitting lower down (in the bit that's already done)
