it a disease you only get once... and much people just don't realize they've had it untill they have a blood work done... So it's not that bad... It's just sometimes it gets worst, and that's when people realizes oy have it...

Very cute skirt. I love the buttons you added. I had mono a couple of years ago. It sucks. But I was lucky in a way because once I actually found out I had it I was feeling better and my doctor said I still had to take a month off from work. But it sucked because before I knew I had it I felt like crap and worked the whole time. You also have to be careful because your spleen is enlarged or something and you can rupture it easily.

Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling?

ugh.... mono. i had a really bad case (in comparison, i guess) during my winter break of my first year at college. thank god it was then because i would have had to withdraw for the quarter. my throat swelled up and got all gross and ulcerated. i could barely swallow pain pills and use cough drops when i was awake. also i don't think i was awake / out of bed for more than ten minutes over a two week period. my mom seriously would come into my room at night to make sure i was still breathing because sometimes she wasn't sure. i got better within a month... right before christmas (good gift!) so at least that was good.
for some odd reason i just thought back to the medieval / renaissance era where people would say, "a pox on you!!" i seriously would not wish this on my worst enemy though. seriously. Smiley
i'm so glad that you didn't have a bad case and that you got some clothing out of the down-time!

Very cute skirt, even though pink is one of my least favorite colors. Those heart buttons are adorable!

Speaking of mono, my nickname is "Mono"!  Tongue In 8th grade my friends thought it would be funny to give each other STD nicknames but since we're such a big group, by the time they got to me they had run out of STDs. So I got stuck with "mono" which is fitting seeing as I'm the most innocent one of them all. Roll Eyes
