Amazing. I really love them and others' adaptations aswell. I'm not really a necklace person but I think I'd like to try and make a smaller one of these and make a bracelet. Hm.
&&I was wondering; do you have to measure the bead/marble that goes into the tube of fabric before you actually make the tube...? I'm guessing this would be the sensible thing to do. =]

pppolaroids - When I made my first fabric tube - I made it based on the measurement of the wooden beads I would be placing inside.  I had to toss that tube to my cat because despite the large struggle I had, I just couldn't get the bead in  Roll Eyes

So for the second tube (the necklace I posted) - I made it a little bit bigger (I think it was as least a 1/4 of an inch wider than the bead) so that the beads would slide in without breaking my nails trying to shove them in.  Second time worked like a charm!

Here's my version of the necklace!

And I made a bracelet by string beads and tying a knot in between.  It's not finished...I need to work out all the kinks!

I'm going to experiment with some more colors and textures! Yay! This was a fun project!  I made my tube too small, i wanted a bigger necklace.  I agree with pucchimaiko, to make it bigger than you think it needs to be!

Thanks Smiley
The necklace is a gold satin, and the bracelet is strung on a really wide peachy colored organza ribbon. I was planning on making a necklace with that big bamboo circle as a pendant, but I didn't have enough ribbon!! I still am experimenting with different cute ways to close it.
