Everyones pictures are so beautiful!  I am in love with the off beat colors.  I just went to a huge wedding last weekend.  The bridesmaids all wore purple, I'm not sure what the name of that shade of it is though.  They didn't match everything, which I thought was great.  Each centerpiece was different, tableclothes were not purple and the church was robins egg blue!  I love color, a wedding should be colorful and happy!

Here are some pictures from my wedding (I hope they show up...). We got married 20 Aug this year and it was at a historical log cabin in Nashville. These are the only pictures that I have right now, but Ill try and look for some more tonight.

I know what you mean!  You can't tell from the pictures I posted but we had a lot of color at our wedding.  My Matron of Honor wore pink and my flower girl wore sage green.  The men wore black suits with pink ties which looked SO GOOD!!  Each tie had a different pattern but they were all the same shades of pink, silver, and white.  We also used silver and black here and there in the decor.

Our wedding was VERY simple.  We were married this May in South Lake Tahoe at a hotel on the lake.  We just had dinner after the ceremony in a restaurant at the hotel.  After dinner we had cake and then went gambling.  I am NOT one of those girls who had her wedding planned from childhood and relished all the details.  I was into making it low stress and simple.

We got married in Hawaii.  Here's one of the photos I already had scanned:

Wish I had more already on the computer.  I'm too lazy to scan more now.

And lastly my cake... I LOVED IT!!  It was a red velvet so it had this wonderful bright red color inside.

I love it, it's perfect!  And your bouquet is beautiful!

I'll admit, I just spent the last half-hour gazing at all of these wonderful weddings. It's funny, I was never the little girl to plan my wedding (although I was a bride for halloween when I was Cool I would just sorta gaze at couples and think dreamily, "someday". Now that I've found him I think about it all the time! I want more pics of beautiful weddings! I love talking and thinking and giggling about weddings now! But as I am only 22 my friends are still in the "umm, I have enough trouble deciding what beer to drink, let alone choosing a human being" so I'm a little starved. Bring it on ladies and gents! gush gush gush!

I "Wist" you'd stalk me...

Loving this board!

Marielle -- I'm getting hitched in Fall of '06 and was thinking of going with sage and brown as our colors as well. My Girl of Honor (hates to be called Matron) is a little leery of those colors, but any pix would be great so I could look for myself. Perhaps you could post a few?  Smiley

Hercuteness -- I am crazy about your dress. I'm looking for something just like it but all the stores have are these big, expensive productions. Can you tell me who made yours? Pricey, not pricey?

Keep posting, ladies! Yippee!

My favorite of our wedding pics!

The mafia wedding picture

The bright and colorful reception... (yes, those are wagon wheel chandeliers!!!)

And me, asking if I can get a drink already!

And I have lots of DIY projects if anyone is interested... (The crystal bouts that I remembered to bring were a big success!)
