Finally got around to posting pictures from my August 2010 wedding!  It was the PERFECT day and I was marrying the man who introduced me to craftster - what could be better?!

My coffee filter roses! I love them so much.  My mom made my veil and sewed a pearl strand around the entire edge.

My jewelry: my grandma & I made the necklace together. I included some pearls from my mom's wedding dress.

My grandma & I made the bridesmaids jewelry too (cant see it here, sadly!)  I made over 100 coffee filter roses for all the bouquets and my sister and I put the bouquets together. (She's the blond)

The cake had more of my roses!  I made some "minis" and "superminis" for the cake and corsages.  The scroll design mimicked the stamp I used on the invites and in frosting is the monogram I used on everything in our "wedding font"

Rings!  On my husband's saber. (We used it to cut the cake!)

Ok here goes!!  Lots of crafted items were used in my comic book themed wedding.  I hope you like the pictures and if you want to know how I made anything just let me know!!!

Veil - All made by me.  Smiley  I even made it so the veil part detaches so that I would have a hairpiece during the reception. Used smaller version of our flowers in the hairpiece so it tied everything together.

Without the veil part.

Programs & Frames
This is the program we had made.  The cover is also what we used for our invitations.  My friend drew us a comic book cover for us based on the silly idea we had of ninjas attacking our wedding.

The Variant Cover.  We had two friends who made us covers after we gave them the idea and we had to use both.

My hubby had some awesome comic book pages he wanted on display so we used digital picture frames that scrolled through the pictures during the event.  We are re-using these as mother's day gifts for our mom's.  We are going to load them with pictures from the wedding.  Smiley

Place Cards/ Favors
Each table had a different color (red, green, blue, yellow) and its own comic book ( x-men, scott pilgrim, garfield, etc) AND each of our 200 guest had their own character from the comic whose table they were at.  My hubby is amazing and made all of these cards for everyone and figured out who to give to each person.

My bouquet I used some bigger flowers in the colors we used for the girl's bouquets for an added pop of color.
The girls with theirs.

I got plain cylinder vases from the dollar store, color changing led tea light candles, and stones.  Then threw in some of the flowers I made and put a few around the outside.  I think we made about 200 flowers for the tables and I ended up bring only 50 home at the end of the night.  I think some people really liked them.  Wink

The Cake!!!!

A friend of ours makes jewelry so she made us sound effect bubble necklaces and pins.  Ours were wedding related the rest were just fun action words.

And finally the whole wedding party together.  I actually dyed all of the ties and sashes for the party so that they would end up with the same exact color.  Not too shabby for my first attempt at dyeing silk.

And some random super fancy shots that I just love and can't help but post.

I hope you enjoy looking at my stuff.  If you want to know how I made anything let me know!!!!

I know I'm kinda late on the bandwagon for this thread, but I finally get to post our big day pictures after loving all of yours! Cheesy

We got married in a local team room called Emma's. My mom took me there for lunch one day and I walked in, and told her, 'I want to get married in here!!' It so cute and small and delightful!

It was so wonderful...and the day after Christmas too! Cheesy
