Here's one image from our wedding, plus a link to my post already here on Craftster, which I just updated with the rest of my professional shots. I made pretty much everything, from the origami flower bouquets, to invitations, to decorations, even down to my dress and jewelry.

Thanks for checking it out!

All of your pictures are gorgeous!  I have so many fabulous ideas for when I get married, but my boyfriend still has the title of boyfriend, not fiance.  Sigh.

I definitely want to have a nontraditional, artsy wedding.  I'm studying graphic design, and would love to make my own invites.  (And, probably much to my mother's chagrin, I want to wear Converse when I get married!)

I can finally post in here! XD

Wedding is officially done! I only have the photos from my friend Aimee, she took them on my camera. I'll be getting more photos from the photographer, family members and a few other friends! XD

Here a few of my faves!

{AND yes, I do know how absolutely white I am, and how crazy I am for going to Egypt in two days for the honeymoon. XD I'm sure I'll burn to a crisp! LOL}

Brent and I

The cupcakes, our friend did them for us. They are real pansies, and the icing and cupcakes contain absolutely NO DAIRY. XD

the boy and i got married july 12, 2008...
i was all about saving half our budget money to pay for the honeymoon, so everything we did was on the cheap side.
i also just wanted everything to be "us," not necessarily traditional, fancy, elegant...but casual and comfortable.  it turned out perfectly.

-i designed, printed, sliced, folded, and decorated the save the dates, invitations, programs, and AWESOME activity books (i'll have to post pics of those later)
-used fake flowers for everything...made the boutonnieres and a hairpiece for myself, tied the bouquets, and arranged a daisy in over 100 various glass vases, bottles, jars, etc. for centerpieces
-made almost all the desserts (with the help of some family and friends): cupcakes, cream cheese mints, chocolate chip cookies, black and white cookies...we also had dutch letters and cream puffs
-a seamstress friend of the family made the flower girl dresses from an adorable pattern i found...she also sliced off my train (i was going to bowl in the thing, after all) and added straps on (i didn't want to be pulling up my top all night)
-instead of tossing flower petals (i just don't get the point), the flower girls handed out homemade daisy suckers to guests sitting at the ends of the rows in the chapel
...i'm sure there's more =]

oh, i miss my wedding!!

we had the rehearsal dinner at our house, with famous dave's catering.  it.  was.  amazing.
our ceremony was at the chapel of our alma mater, followed by the most fun wedding reception ever---at a bowling alley!  none of us are big into dancing...and who doesn't like bowling??  we had subway and breadeaux pizza "cater" (they were our college jobs, so it was a little meaningful...i think total for over 200 guests it was about $400).

good times were had by all.

the professional shots, taken by my fabulous sister-in-law to be!
