To conserve space, here's a link to the post I did with some pics from our wedding...

Yes, lots of little kids get very very excited when they see my dad.  All he has to say is Ho Ho Ho and they're thrilled.
i bet he makes a lot of kids happy!

You all have such beautiful wedding pictures!

Ok...you asked for it...

Here we are in all our glory...and yes, we got married inside of a giant windmill in the middle of the city.

I have one that shows the dress better but I can't find it at the moment...

I had one really lovely (and surprisingly traditional, now that I look at it) wedding followed by a pretty awful marriage, and then one really boring wedding (if you can even call it that) followed by a really wonderful marriage.  Here are pictures of them both.  (Please excuse the poor quality of the scans.)

This shows you the scenery pretty well.  It's this lovely little spot in a park on the edge of town.  The columns are from a federal building during Lincoln's term and were purchased by a citizen of my city (named after Lincoln) some time ago.

This scene shows us better.  My dress was made by my mother, as were the dresses of the two flower girls, seen in the other picture.  My sister's back shows the bridesmaids dresses.  They were silver satin with dusty roses on them from the prom section of Dillard's.  And there's my Ex in his dress blues.  He was good looking, I'll give him that.

We had the reception at my dad's place of business, which happened to be an aviation company.  This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole wedding.  The sign reads "Warning Zone: No Parking Within 10 Feet".

And this shows you the reception, sort of.  Part of the hangar had planes in it, and even tool boxes lined up against the walls, etc.  In front of that was the food tables and DJ station.  Then the whole front end of the hangar had the tables, which were set simply with white tableclothes and aluminum foil and fake pearl strands with candles in the center.

And this was my second wedding.  Please note the interior of a courtroom in the background.  And, though you can't really tell, I am actually eight and a half months pregnant in that picture.

Well thanks a lot, just looking at this thread has made me cry. I have a serious desire to get married right now, tomorrow is our 2 year anniv. I want to be married so badly, but we're broke and I keep hearing "you're too young" *le sigh*
taloola: That first picture of you is classic. You are so beautiful.
SugarGlider101: I LOVE the beach pics, I want to get married on a beach or near one (at least outside) we live about 30min from the shore. Also, your dress is INCREDIBLE!! I love the red.

Aww, everyone looks so beautiful!
I'll definately keep an eye on this thread, I'm the kinda girl who's been dreaming of her wedding since she was tiny.

I got wiring loose inside my head
I got books that I never ever read
I got secrets in my garden shed
I got a scar where all my urges bled
I got people underneath my bed
I got a place where all my dreams are dead
Swim with me into your blackest eyes...
