Okay, I'm not going to give you actual instructions for these, but basically if you have some old jeans or something and need a gift for a friend (a girl), make a purse.  But then make a scrunchie and put it in.  And get a bleach pen to distress the jean purse and maybe write something into it, like the name of a fake designer (maybe Ingrid du Challon, or something chic sounding like that), put in soap you've made yourself, and just make it a grab bag of lots of little things you've made.  It's fun because the person will be really surprised.  So yeah.  That's my idea.

And PS when you're making soap, you can try buying little trinkets like cheap rings from those vending machines and stuff and put them in the soap so the person doesn't find them until the soap has been used enough.  That's always fun.

When you're making your own novelty/gift soap, it's fun to put different shaped soap inside your soap bar too. Trinkets are great to use. My brother always loved it when I made soap with Dragon Ball Z and Pokeman toys in them. Lol. Another idea for old jeans...You can cut off the pocket (leaving the back attached) and use a hot glue gun to attach magnets to the back. Then, just decorate the front with fabric paint or ribbons and you've got a great pen/pencil holder for your fridge or locker door.

Hehe!  When I first read this, I thought "Why would you want magnets on your butt?"
