I love this! It is so creative, pretty, well thought out, individual, unique, special. It is everything that crafting should be, it is not mass produced, generic, or meaningless. You are wearing your heart on your sleeve, um, well, arm anyways.  Wink

The beading is so wonderful, it's fun and I really love your colors. The green hearts are so cute and really add to the beading. What did you use to write on this bag?

On a personal note: Thank you for your example, courage and dedication. Jesus is my whole life and I cannot wait to meet you in eternity, dear sister. Keep up the encouraging love talk, your walk will be blessed. Pray without ceasing. This bag you have created is not only beautiful to the eye, but an excellent witness tool.

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

SUBMITEVERYTHOUGHT-Thank you so much for the encouragement. I can't wait to meet you, either. Smiley

I wrote on the fabric while it was flat with a Pilot Gold Marker. Here is a link for the markers, although you may be able to find them lots of places. (No connection to me) I haven't done extensive tests on this, but it survived a wash or two for me. I haven't needed to wash this bag much.

You have a place in eternity, too, that can't be stolen from you. You have kept on putting one foot in front of the other when it was hard and that is precious. You have so much to look forward to here and that's just starters.

Thanks again!!

I'm just seeing this for the first time and it is so inspiring!

I read the whole thread and I must have missed how you did the writing!  Is it embroidery or fabric pens?

I have a Christian women's group that I would love to make something similar as gifts, not sure exactly what yet.... but you've got me thinking!

blessings to you!

One more sister in Christ, jess

Thanks, Jatoha and susanab! I am glad you liked it.

Jess: I used a gold Pilot marker. Look back about 4 or 5 posts for a link. They are inexpensive and come in silver and gold.

I'd love to see what you come up with. You can do pouches and other accessory items with your group. Also, heavier clothing items would be great with the fabric I used, such as a panel in a jacket or skirt. I am happy to have such fun sisters. Smiley

I can't believe I haven't seen this before. I love your bag. It is soo beautiful. I'm a christian as well and I love it. I really have to learn to sew properly so I can try and make one  Grin Not exactly the same of course as I don't want to take your idea. But I would love to use this idea for other crafts.

Thank you for inspiring me!

This is awesome! I am Christian, too!
I love that bohemian vibe the bag gives off, and the text is lovely!
Great, great, great  Grin

Aezelle- Hey, I love your blog! I don't mind your using the idea as much as you'd like. I think it works best if the thoughts are from your heart, but I would be happy for you to use it in other crafts. I am happy to have inspired you.

Thank you, MyHypnoticHeart! So glad you like it Smiley
