****I have posted some new pics with a better camera on Page 6. Below is the original post, minus a couple of pics. These below are all I could find of the original pics.****

I haven't posted any bags for awhile, so I'm posting a couple today to catch up Smiley

This bag was made to express my faith. It is fairly quiet, but is covered with encouragements for me to love God abandonedly. I put the beads on the top rather hesitantly, because I don't usually do really fussy stuff, but the colors and sheen really added to the bag ( I hope).

Here are a couple of closeups of the writing and the appliqued velvet hearts.

The bag is made from creme brocade and lined in pale lime cotton. It has creme lace partway up with green ribbon for the final part of the straps.

The images are slightly dark, because the writing is in a sepia/gold tone and didn't show up until I darkened it slightly.

Thanks for looking !!

This is a pretty old post, but here are the two pics I could still find for this bag. Thanks!

Edited to readd pics.

Your bag is really cute. Although i'm not really religious, i like how the sayings on it are low-key. Wink great job.

I'm very glad that you had the "courage" to show it off like that, cause so many people have the habbit of making fun of people who do, really... I admire you!  Wink

And the bag turned out really AdOrAbLe!!! I wouldn't put the bead srtap on top, at least not that much, but just cause I like beads more in little details or so... still a GOOD  GOOD WORK from you arrhythmia!
well... AS ALWAYS, right?? Wink

Thanks, guys, you all made me cry (the good kind.)

garyn-thanks, you're a peach !

GI Jane-
I never could decide about the beads, either, but I like the glisten, and I'm not too handy with beading.

seaofstars-I appreciate your words, especially after seeing your awesome applique skill !

starlene-you're a writer, too, you know. Try writing your heart on a bag and wear it out. Really !!

cosmiccranberry-Thanks! I love how you put that!

Eremira-Yay for Albania ! She who is in the US sends greetings ! Thanks !

Wow!  I would definitely wear that if I had one.  I'm always looking for ways to share my faith without wearing freaky Jesus t-shirt.  You might have inspired me here.... keep up the great work and testimony!

jjgirl- If I have inspired you to do your own, that is totally happy !!

I love your site and I'd like to link to it if you don't mind. I love the Ella collection eyelash scarf and the thin blue openwork scarf. I know where my money's gonna go when I get some !! Smiley

Thanks for the encouragement !!
