I made this hat as a test for a Jayne Cobb hat I'm planning to make for a friend. I was going to add earflaps, but that would make it too ridiculous.  Cheesy
It's made of acrilyc, but i think the color makes up for the lack of quality yarn.
Ok here is my lovely sister modeling the first hat that I'm really quite happy about.

The yarn is some red heart super saver (the color is "candy"), and I made the pattern up. I used double crochet for the crown and half double for the rest of the hat. I had a lot of yarn left over to make more things. Which simply adds to my stash of exponential growth.
