Hello!  I've been a knitter for a year or so, and I saw a bag I really wanted to make, so I started this crochetalong: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50746.0

I had no idea how to crochet, so I tried a mini version...

It doesn't look anything like the original, but I'm proud to have a finished crocheted project!  Now, empowered, I can move on to bigger things!

Great job, that looks very well done for a first project! I'm also on the switch, but so far I haven't gotten down a first knitting project... yet.  Wink

Everybody likes pink. People who think otherwise are in denial.

I think ya did a lovely job on the purse...what did ya use for the front flower? Did ya make it or is it a broach pin?

If you hadn't said it was your first project, I don't think I would have known. Cool
