This is my first quilt ever. I made it for my son. I haven't decided whether to leave the quilting to just the buttons, or add quilting. I'll probably just leave it. The front is made from 4 different scraps I had. Black cotton, Yellow cotton, houndstooth(?) jersey, and green cotton. The jersey was a bit annoying. There are buttons at the corners of the squares, and the star applique is lined with buttons.

I love the star.  I bought some sequins today, and I want to try a star on one of my quilts, only in sequins.  thanks for the inspiration!
