I'm glad you love it! (It's a good judge of my personality. Mostly happy and fun, but way too much  romance.  Grin)

Anyway, if anyone wants to know what I sent her explaining what I like, I have the word file I could copy/paste (so you don't have to do all that typing, Jazzy).

What is love? As far as I can tell, it is passion, admiration and respect. If you have two, you have enough. If you have all three, you don't have to die to go to heaven."

Here's the list:

2. Lose Your Way - Sophie B. Hawkins
3. Night Moves - Bob Seger
4. Peaceful World - John Mellencamp & India.Aire
5. Walk With Me - Seven and the Sun
6. Jet Airliner - Steve Miller Band
7. Life Got In the Way - Sister Hazel
8. Innocent - Our Lady Peace
9. Posters - Jack Johnson
10. Tiny Dancer - Elton John
11. Watermark - Enya
12. Piano Man - Billy Joel
13. How Sweet It Is - Michael Buble
14. Don't Panic - Coldplay
15. Gone Going - Black-Eyed Peas & Jack Johnson
16. Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Leppard
17. Confessions - Trews
18. Tearin' It Up - Garth Brooks
19. Take It Easy - The Eagles
20. Down On the Farm - Tim McGraw
21. Time to Switch to Whisky - Corb Lund Band

Thanks, Starsix!  Hope my package arrives soon...

Astriked--I took some pictures of the cd case before I mailed it.  I can post them if you'd like.

Glad you enjoyed the CD.  You can tell who my favorites are, huh?

I really liked the Ted Leo & the Pharmacists stuff - it was such a change of pace and a really eclectic sound.

*EDIT* and thanks so much for the earrings! they're adorable! how'd you know i have a weakness for anything that i can put in my ears??

Lucky guess on the earrings.  I just started making them and trying to sell them, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to send them.  Advertising and all that  Cheesy  I'm glad they were a hit. (I would have been really screwed if you didn't have pierced ears, huh?)

I love Ted Leo.  I never would have discovered him if not for my husband (actually, most of the songs on the CD wouldn't have got there without him--he really widened my musical horizons.  The only artist on there I listened to before I met him is Tori Amos.  Just reallized that).  He actually went to Notre Dame with Ted in the early 90's before they both sort of dropped out, and actually sang for him/Chisel a couple times before Ted got good enough to sing and play at the same time.  And now Ted's playing on Conan and Bob's a systems admin with a house and a wife and a dog.   Roll Eyes

Front of the CD case (recycled AOL tin)(and my really cluttered desk in the background. Eek--should've cropped that out)

Back of case, listing the songs

The earrings I added as a little bonus (they're black seed beads crocheted on wire)

I got my two CDs from Jazzybelle and they sound great.  I just pmed her for the playlist so I will post that and the pictures after I get back from the concert I'm going to.

Here are the pics and play list I promised.

The playlist that jazzybelle pmed me:
CD 1:
Science Fiction Double Feature from Rocky Horror Picture Show- Rocky Horror is one of the few things in life I get absolute pleasure from.
What Is This Feeling? from Wicked- I love Wicked, both the musical and the book, and so no CD of mine is complete without a good representation from Wicked.
Defying Gravity from Wicked
The Internet Is For Porn from Avenue Q- This is one of the absolute funniest songs I have ever heard.
Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock by Harry and the Potters- Harry and the Potters amuses me, and I listen to it when I read Harry Potter, so it naturally has a place in my heart.
Voulez-Vous Danser by Ace of Base- The middle schooler in me can't forget all those hours spent listening to Ace of Base.
Rag Doll by Aerosmith- I stole this CD from my mom specifically for this song
Sarenissimo by Hamilton High School Chamber Singers- This is the choir I'm in this year!!!
Habanera from Carmen- A French musical set in Spain...I know all the words. This song is left over from my two years of French.
Bent Out of Shape by Squirrel Nut Zippers- I sang this for last year's Vocal Jazz auditions and it grew on me.
Hell by Squirrel Nut Zippers- I love Squirrel Nut Zippers. This is one of the funnest songs of all time.
Save Ginny Weasley by Harry and the Potters- This is the song their fangroup is named after.
Just Like Heaven by The Cure- I listened to this song nonstop for about two weeks between my sophomore and junior years.
Darts of Pleasure by Franz Ferdinand- My old AIM screen name came from this song. Also I love Franz Ferdinand.
Spiderwebs by No Doubt- I used to be OBSESSIVE about No Doubt.
Love in an Elevator by Aerosmith- One of those fun songs about going down. In an elevator.
Radio Hollaback by Gwen Stefani and The Clash- Hate the song, love the remix.
Trapped in a Box by No Doubt- First No Doubt hit deserves a place, don't you think?
Girl on the Wing by The Shins- I live and die for The Shins.
Tiny Cities Made of Ashes by Modest Mouse- This song is so fun.
Know Your Onion! by The Shins- This is MY SONG.

CD 2:

Joining You by Alanis Morissette- Suicide! Depression! Therapy! This song has it all.
I Was Hoping by Alanis Morissette- I love the acoustic version.
Out of Habit by Ani DiFranco- I can't really elaborate on any of Ani's songs. They're so...self-explanatory.
Sister Blister by Alanis Morissette- Alanis sang this at her Costa Mesa diamond wink tour, and I was the ONLY person in the crowd clapping for it.
Fear of Bliss by Alanis Morissette
Rush Hour by Ani DiFranco
Purgatorying by Alanis Morissette- I don't want to be like this song. All businessy and unliving.
Unprodigal Daughter by Alanis Morissette- I understand the sentiment in this song all too well.
Princess Familiar by Alanis Morissette
Surrender by Alanis Morissette- The bridge is the best.
These R the Thoughts by Alanis Morissette
She Says by Ani DiFranco
The Couch by Alanis Morissette- This song reminds me of The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. My English teacher HATES her and it's apparently trendy to be disdainful of her theories, but whatever. I read it for the plot. I'm so going to fail AP Lit.
Forgiven by Alanis Morissette- Yum.
Make Me Stay by Ani DiFranco
Not the Doctor by Alanis Morissette
No Pressure Over Cappucino by Alanis Morissette- Supposedly she wrote this song for her gay brother, but it's great for anyone who's feeling down.
Falling Is Like This by Ani DiFranco

They are great CDs!  Thanks so much!
