Ok...no thanks to the Long Loopy Necklace swap, I am OBSESSED with making these necklaces.  I made 2 last night and 1 today.  Here are the pics from the 2 last night.  I can't get a good pic of the 1 I made today.  Grr.

This one was virtually *free* to make.  A lady I work with brought these beads to me...they came from a store her friend works at...the necklace broke!  Free beads for me!  Score!  They're plastic, but pretty.

Here's my favorite loopy thus far!  The pics don't do it the right amount of justice, but you get the idea.  I got these from a bead show in March, and could NOT figure out what to make with them.  Until last night.  The bright blue beads are faceted and they definetely pick up the light.  I used 2 different kinds of seed beads for the "chain."

Thanks for looking!

Lariat?  What's that?  A long, loopy necklace is basically a very long necklace.  It looks like your's have some clasps.  You can loop them around and around your neck, and they are super purdy and some are flapper-esqe.

supergeek is right...they just loop around your neck...once..twice...whatever look you're trying to achieve.  the brown necklace doesn't have a clasp.   i just fit it over my head.  the blue one does have a clasp.  i haven't figured out which method i prefer yet...on the ones that have a clasp it makes it easier to wrap them around your neck sorta choker-style.  without a clasp it's almost impossible.  however, i don't wear them like that often anyways...lol...

thanks for you comments guys!
