My best friend and I made these decoupaged switch plate covers.  It was our first attempt & I think they came out pretty nice.  We used a glue mixture to seal them.  Next time I think we'll use polyeurathane(sp?) to give them a nicer finish.  My husband designed the Mario one.   Smiley

I am quickly becoming a fan of decorated lightswitch covers.   I mean, really, is there any easier way to dress up a room a little??

And being a huge Strawberry Shortcake fan... I love yours!!   *two thumbs up*    Grin Cheesy Wink

The sunflower switchplate was made from three seperate images a friend found in some old Popular Photography magazine (a sunflower pic, a city pic, and a pic of a bee) and they were cut up and collaged all together.  I'm not sure which issue she found them in but I'm sure it was an issue from either 2004 or 2005.  Actually all 5 switchplates were made using a collage of pics from old magazines and calanders.
