And I do get blood on clothes I sew way too often... usually from accidentally stabbing my thumb with a pin and not noticing. I'll have to keep the spit thing in mind. Wink

It's lovely, and I'm jealous of anyone who can carry that colour off that well!

On the whole blood thing, my godmother (a royal seamstress, no less!) taught me to roll up a ball of white cotton thred, get that good and soggy with spit (how gross is this??) and then roll it over the offending spot. That way you pick up most of it without the fabric getting too wet - and don't forget that the spit has to belong to the same person as the blood Wink

No longer swapping, so please ignore any expressions of interest in the Ideas thread
