You find this fabulous vintage button flower thing, but it's missing a rhinestone. You realize that the "pin" (ie, fake design element) on the shirt you got for $5 on the sale rack has the same size rhinestones. You pop one out and glue it into place before you realize you just damaged your shirt your are wearing for a button that you're not sure what you are going to use it for that you found in your mother-in-laws back room.

Unconsious sacrafice of clothing for craft. I love this life Smiley

when you sacrifice the majority of your dorm storage space to random craft things, and the toaster over you tried to sneak in was for clay, not food.

...when you flip your chair over at an upscale outdoor bistro just to check the construction so you can remake it. (have done that twice.)

...when your friends have finally stopped asking you, "Where'd you buy that" and started asking, "Where'd you buy that FABRIC?"

...when your finger tips are callused just right a'la Marge Simpson teaching Lisa needlepoint.

...when your cat even knows the difference between casual craftiness and SERIOUS stay outta my way Craft time.

...when you curse the vicious cycle of needing a second job to support crafting habits, but then curse second job for taking up valuable craft time.

When even a sticker bought in the quarter machine has crafting oppournuties (I mean, wow, I hate this design...break out the sharpies and stickers!)

When you find the crafty goodness in working as a janitor.
When you're in peoples homes, mentally rearranging things, and mentally crafting up their expensive, posh furniture.

I am packing for school literally right now. My mom is taking me down in her Volkswagen golf, last year I filled a mini van, so I have to condense, craft stuff is filling a large chunk of my precious space.
