I was so motivated by all the fabulous projects that I decided to try stenciling for myself. This was me testing my stencil out on card stock to see if it worked, and I didn't tape it down very firmly, so it bled a bit. Not bad for my first attempt, I thought.

So I got brave and got out my spray adhesive and fixed up a boring white tank top. Yay for pretty things!

That's really pretty! I never would have thought to use cherry blossoms as a stencil subject, but yours sure did turn out cute! Great job!

I think it's really nice.
I'd love to see that on a chocolate brown fabric  and the bleach used instead of paint for the branches and the pink cherry blossoms. I just think that it'd look striking.

I would really like to see what you use this stencil on.

Instead of taping the stencil down, try using spray adhesive.  It's a fairly inexpensive way to be sure that your stencil will stay put.

I have spray adhesive, but I didn't want to use it since I was afraid it would stick too well to the card stock I used. I also didn't think my mom would appreciate me using it in her kitchen! I think I'm going to try it on a tank top today, for which I plan to use the spray adhesive. =) I'll post it if it turns out.

Wow, color me impressed!  The cherry blossoms are beautiful.  I think this stencil would also look great on a tote, maybe even over a patterned fabric.  Once again, very nice job Smiley

That is really beautiful, it almost looks hand-painted. I bet you could even print more on cardstock and sell them as blank notecards.

I think I need a shirt with some sort of branch on it now.
