ohhh! that looks nice, and such ravenclaw colors too, who knew denim & heather gray would go so well together?

aww, thanks Grin.  It was so hard for me to find the right shade of blue.  All the navy colored yarns seemed too bright or just a shade "off", but the denim seemed perfect.  Something that could be worn with almost anything.

What About Harry POtter ties?

I've been wanting to make a house scarf for a long time. I need to check my stash to see if i have the right colors. I'm in the stash-be-gone-along too, so i can't buy any (I have WAY to much to even consider buying more anyway)

I'm a Hufflepuff so I think I have the colors.  I'll check in to say if I'm making one for not. Is everyone doing the original movie style with even stripes of both colors? Or the newer style with mostly one color and thin stripes of the other color on the ends? I guess which one I'm doing depends on the stash.

I want to fill my home and life with handcrafts! PM me if you want to do a personal swap!

I have brand new inkpads and stamps I need to get rid of. Good brands too. I want to swap for other supplies! PM me if you're interested!

mom2blu- People have done both versions of the scarf, so I assume it depends on personal preference. I personally am working on the third/ fourth year trapped bar style, Slytherin of course  Wink

I have nearly forgotten about mine in the process of discovering cables. I'm putting it on my to do list for tomorrow to get some pictures then.

HarryPotterFreak- I might have dreamed I saw a KAL for these sometime while browsing?... If not, start your own! They would be fun to do.

Personal swap hungry- send me a yummy PM.

Hey all, it's been forever. and with the stress of midterm approaching (not to mention my audition into theater school eek!), I've been relaxing with my house scarf again, and I'm on the seventh repeat. Goodness, it feels like forever until the end.

Just a fun fact- if you're following the pattern from atypically.knit, did you know your scarf contains 47,880 stitches? Mind blowing I say.

Personal swap hungry- send me a yummy PM.

I just finished mine during my Christmas break.

It took me forever! I have one in the Ravenclaw colors that is almost finished, I should be posting it soon.  Smiley

And now a Ravenclaw one! I even ordered a house patch on eBay.

Am I the only one still knitting these?  Roll Eyes

I'm halfway through my Year One style Gryffindor scarf! I am making it to match my Quidditch sweater for the movie this fall. I will have to post a progress pic! I love the Ravenclaw patch, btw!
