I've previously posted my iPod sleeve that I about about a year ago, as well as my wallet, which I made a couple of weeks ago.  All were made from a dress my aunt gave me when she was having a moving sale.  I loved the fabric, made the iPod sleeve, then decided to make a whole set.  I think it's a bit much to have everything matching, but when I saw the pattern for this bag, I thought the fabric I had would look perfect on it! (it's actually pretty much the same as the "rounder roomy bag" or whatever posted on here, but I got the pattern from a different site and tweaked it).  Now that I'm done, I considered making a new wallet since the set looks like a little too much, then decided making a wallet so it wouldn't match my purse seemed silly.  I had originally planned on making a matching bag, but I had intended to do something in another fabric with just a little stripe or some sort of accent in this fabric.  Ah well, I love the bag I ended up making!  And here it is...

This was my first time using magnetic snaps, as well as my first time using zippers.  It ended up taking forever since I wasn't really sure what I was doing (and I was using a zipper I'd cut out of another bag and the actual zipper kept falling off), but I like the end results.

The set all together!  Plus my left toe.  I was going to retake the picture but then thought this might be his only chance at stardome, who am I to take that away from him?!

And this is the other side of the flap.  I still need to fix it since it looks terrible.  I'm just going to cut out the fabric I sewed over the magnet (it was too strong without a piece of fabric there) and then sew a new piece over all the ugly stuff.

I just think it's funny you call your toe a he when you're a she (and I double checked on your profile before I typed this just to be sure).

Oh, and I like your handbag set, too, of course Smiley
