Ok, first proper post  Grin here goes...
I make things for my friend's birthdays, because its fun and also I'm sick of going into shops and not finding what I want! I made this corset/bustier with a little help from you crafty people here and some problem-solving! I will attempt pictures now...
This is the front, it looks big on me coz I'm a size smaller than my friend and I didn't have her handy to model it hehe... and the thing on my lip is a piercing, looks wierd in the pic!
This is the back, please excuse the strap marks... I can't get rid of them!!
You can't really see the trousers in the picture but I made those too. All of this without the aid of a sewing machine coz the only one I have is a travelling one with no needle, d'oh!
I used zip ties for boning on the front and back, and if you want to see almost a tutorial (I took LOTS of pictures!) then go see my fotopic gallery at http://otherside.fotopic.net/c649786_1.html

I'm not really sure how this works but all responses welcome  Smiley thankyou!

The front panel is some fabric somebody gave me, it's quite stiff and thick like heavy cotton I think, as it doesn't stretch! The sides are blue crushed velvet which I thought went well, and as they stretch I'm hoping this fits my friend! I will post after her birthday to let you know  Smiley
Also.....thankyou for replying!! I was terrified nobody would!  Cry

Yes, the fabric is very nice. It looks like velvet. Is it velvety? I congratulate you on making something, I can't make anything for my life. Cheesy:D:D:D

Like I promised, it was my friend's birthday yesterday and we all went out, and she loved her present!  Smiley AND after some trying on in the pub toilets over her top we concluded it fitted nicely  Grin
So YAY I'm pleased! I also spent the 2 days before her birthday making a similar one for me, might post it on here later!
Thanks so much for the replies  Cheesy
