I'm new here, so I thought I'd give some info and post a little picture of something I did today as well.   I noticed there has been much interest on japanese felt craft/stuffies [where did that term come from? didn't realise it was so popular...] and found a great seller on ebay who has an impressive variety of japanese craft books, ranging from felt, knittings, etc.

japanese craft books for sale on ebay

Her user name is: meg_pomaikai and she's got tons of huge beautiful scans of the books and some patterns contained therein.

And for my grand entrance! [lol].....

I injured myself making a hot pepper [no cracks, please] today, by basically placing my index finger on the hot hot hot element of an aptly named super hot glue gun, which had been plugged in for too long as well.  It still hurts, I burnt it to a nice caramelized state, mmm.

If only those backings for plastic eyes were easier to put on, I wouldn't have to be glueing innocent little stuffies' socketholes!  And my fingers!

Also this little guy:

I'm trying to make felt versions of this character, my icon, and I'm having trouble getting it to look right.  Proportion isn't the issue, I don't think, it's just that sometimes things don't turn out as well in three dimensions[or so] as they do in two[or so]...

Yes, so Hi, here's a link, here's some of my art

(man i hope i did all that right, or this is going to be a really messy first post.)

a little group shot...  actually the bunny isn't done.  if you're wondering, that thing on the left is a pincushion shaped like a steamed bun, like you can get for dimsum.

hehehe your little green peppers are so cute!  And I love the different sized eyes!

I'm very into Britney Spears' early work, before she sold out, so mostly her, um, finger painting and macaroni art.

Adorable!  Hope your finger heals quickly.

If I was any more open, I'd be inside out.
