Well, completely aside from your question...I love the way you photographed it. I have such a difficult time photographing!  It amazes me how you were able to make him the focal point (does that work for photography too? I learned that word from HGTV...oh, how I miss HGTV!!) and kind of blurred out the background.

Could you get some sort of paper that can withstand the heat and pain the beach theme?

Thanks for the compliment Jenn! But sadly his head popped off in one of my car crashes and got a crack in it. He's sitting all tilty on one of my bookshelves now. Still got his little hat though. I've found that what's helped me out the most taking good pictures is A) knowing your camera very well (ie - learning all that confusing photography lingo) and B) taking lots and lots of pictures. It's statistics really. The more you take the more likely you are to have at least one that will work.
