I just wanted to show off what i made for my boytoy.

first off i made him a shirt. Their are two windows on it. I went with this because we both like the song 'tunnels' by the Arcade fire' particularly the line "ill dig a tunnel from my window to yours" i sews the green stripes on to make it more boyish

and a close up of the window

Next i made some wrapping paper by making a stamp with the number one on it, and stamping it on some tissue paper

and here it is all wrapped up (along with a copy of bukowski's Love is a Dog from Hell.

let me know what you think!<3

is this it?

I really like the idea of the shirt- I'm a sucker for crafts that are sentimental between people, but not easy for everyone else to figure out.
Also love the stamped wrapping paper! Good touch!

Getting back into crafting! Follow along with me on my blog and see what I come up with! Smiley

I think that is a really thoughtful gift, not over-the-top-mushy the way some anniversary gifts can be, and a great idea on the wrapping paper - I like making my own too.  Also love that song!

Now accepting orders for custom handmade books.. treat yourself to a new handbound journal or sketchbook!

The teeshirt is a really nice idea and also the personalised wrapping paper you made and wrapped it in, both really nice!  Smiley

that is a brilliant idea for a gift for your boyfriend! my boyfriend, well fiancee actually, and i came up on being together for 1 year and 10 months yesterday (Tues, Aug 9th) and i drew a cute drawing/cartoon version of me and framed it.  but, seriously, i loved the shirt you made, very masculine and the simplicity of it gives it a nice look. the 1 stamp on the wrapping paper was a great idea too. keep up the crafting! Kudos! I love the shirt (and the song).  And not a soppy heart in the bunch (my husband hates gifts with hearts).  I'm glad he liked it.

"How I don't know what I should do with my hands when I talk to you. How you don't know where you should look, so you look at my hands."

that is so amazing! I love the Arcade Fire! I wish I was crafty like this because I'd have to make myself a shirt like this so I could wear it while I sing really loudly

"You change all the lead
sleepin in my head to gold,
as the day grows dim
I hear you sing a golden hymn"

amazing album.
