Hey all~

This is my first time on this particular board (I've only posted knitting stuff so far), but I love to sew!

My fiance and I finally got an actual futon cover which means we were able to do away with his old, torn, burgandy/navy/green plaid comforter we had been using for one instead.  Well, we had some plain burgandy throw pillows that I decided to recover.  I'm a bit of an addict when it comes to all of the fat quarters at JoAnn's, so I was able to deplete my stash a little with these:

Pillow #1

Pillow #2

They both have the same back:
I'm really happy with them!!   Grin

My favourite is the blue and green pillow.  They all look very soft and squishy.  Mmmmm!

What kind of closure do they have?

Thanks Munchkins!   Cheesy  They are just shams.  If you look at the pic of the backs, the more colorful stripe (it's little flowers and butterflies) is just a fold over flap.  Easier and quicker than zippers or handstitching them closed in my opinion.  Also makes it very easy to make a quick change whenever I want to!

Loooooooove it! I want to make some pillows for my room, and I never thought about fat quarters! I love the pink one!
