Here are a couple of pictures of some embroidery art I made for the Art-o-Mat (www.artomat.org) artist project.  I had to make 50 pieces that fit on a block that is 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" x 7/8"  The art work is then sold out of old cigarette vending machines.  I did all kinds of drinking containers and each one is different.  What do you think?

They look great!  I have a few art-o-mat blocks from when i encountered a machine at the flying M  in boise, idaho.  Some are cool, but I recently got one where a few pieces of lint under a slide were trying to be passed off as art.  I was a tad bit disappointed, having paid $5 for something that I could get out of my dryer, but hey, it's fun.

Anywho!  My point being, yours are awesome and I'd be happy to recieve one from an art-o-mat! (:

Yes, it is sold out of a vending machine.  The guy who runs art-o-mat just finds old cigarette machines and then refurbishes them to vend art.  If you go to the website you can click on a link that will show you a whole bunch of actual machines and where they are located.

WHOA! you are seriously the first person on craftster that i've encountered that has not only been to Idaho.. but has been to the Flying M. i fricking LOVE that place! i don't know how i would have gotten through my later teenage years without being able to sit there to drink coffee and knit or write or whatever until i couldn't see straight!

i dunno.. i just had to say something! are you originally from boise?
