I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Here's a little ornament made for jillybeans in the Harry Potter Holiday Ornament and Stocking Stuffer Swap:

It started with an Altoid tin that I covered in paper and then glued in three balsa wood shelves. The tiny orbs are 6mm and 8mm hollow glass globes that I stuffed with bits of painted and glittered wool roving. They were then glued to silver bead caps. Harry's prophecy is a slightly different color and has a label. Black glitter was sprinkled here and there because, well...glitter. I painted an Altoid insert to frame the tin. Plus, it looks nice. Creating the hanger took the longest time to work out, but I was elated to unearth a single glass bead that looked like a prophecy orb already!

jillybeans also got a crocheted Crookshanks that looks crankier than usual:

Hope your holidays are magical!

That is an unreal level of amazing. Wow.

And HOW did you manage to crochet with fuzzy yarn? I can't even make 3 stitches with that stuff before it's too fluffy to even see where I am!

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

and remember, ALWAYS USE THE GOOD BEADS, YARN, FABRIC!

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO

Haha, the yarn was only a little fuzzy; I just brushed the bejesus out of it. And I just made it up as I went along, so it didn't matter if stitches were all over the place.

So utterly fantastic.  Your detail work on the Prophecy Hall is just amazing.  I had assumed you had painted the beads to be cloudy, but the fact that you stuffed hollow beads that size?!?!  Amazing.  And Crookshanks is completely perfect.
