My friend, faerie godmama to my eldest child, who I have known since we were young teens, is here to visit for the first time in 10 years, yay! She's bunking in our spare room/attic craft studio so what better than to do a craft together?

She chose the vintage orange plaid fabric (it was a shirt I found at the thrift shop).

and the end papers from an adult colouring book I chopped up for paper crafting.

The pages are liquor store bags from all the wine we drank over the weekend, hahaha. They are 2 layers fused together with iron on webbing and stitched round the edges.

Whatever the question, the answer is always CRAFTING! It's the fix for all the sicks. Makes me feel better every time.

and remember, ALWAYS USE THE GOOD BEADS, YARN, FABRIC!

Love you all, thank you so much for everything. XO

So awesome that you got to spent time together and craft after all those years. And, wine as a crafting supply? Even more genius.

She got the kids to colour them before she left, now they are totally extra jam packed with the memories. Nice!
