I finally put to use one of the "Funkins" I have picked up at thrift stores! And I put to use napkins I bought over a decade ago to decoupage with!

I painted the stem first with red oxide, then with brass paint.

I don't think I've ever decoupaged with napkins before, so I learned some things that might help me like future results more. Still, it's a colorful addition to the pumpkins decorating the house for Thanksgiving and for now I'm going to roll with it.

I love this - the colors are so cheerfully fall.  Smiley

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.  Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Beautiful colors! Napkins are a brilliant idea for this kind of thing. Feels perfectly Fall-ish. Smiley

This is a delightful pumpkin.  Definitely my style of colors and bold pattern. I'd be sad to put it away after the fall season ends, but then it'd be something to look forward to putting out again next year. Smiley  Whatever you did with the napkins appears to have worked just fine; it looks great!
