When I spotted this pattern from Witchy Stitcher on Etsy, I knew I was going to stitch it up for The ManFlesh.

Here it is complete with embellishments front and back.

Some details: I stained the bamboo hoop with an ebony acrylic "stain", painted some silk holly leaves with acrylic paint, glittered the plastic berries. To finish the back I cut a circle of printed cardstock with my Cricut Explore and added vintage ric rac around the seam. The "believe" came from a Christmas cardstock pad and cracks me up in this context!

Fun bits: the red is DMC 666 (Christmas Red) and I decided to use GITD floss for the skulls!

I think the pattern designer did such a great job! He was pretty great already, but when I added the eyebrows it all came together.

Excellent! I love all of the added touches- especially the stained leaves and hoop. Will you be putting it in your upstairs powder room?

Haha! I have ordered a small black xmas tree and will hang it with the Krampus and other irreverent ornaments on that.. possibly in our bedroom.
