I received a card (and a bonus card) from Linda P!  She chose to do a blind contour drawing for me!  These are one of my favorite themes because I so enjoy seeing what the results are.  Cheesy  Here is a great little birdie blind contour:

She said it came out better than she thought it would.  I think it turned out great!

And this super adorable little guy is the bonus card and it is what the blind contour should be.  Cheesy  Thank you for both of these cards!  Cheesy

I remember being traumatized by what felt like months of blind contour drawing in 7th grade art class...

Ugh, it's like Thanos, ok?  the long E is the feminine ending.  (Also, I prefer *not* to destroy the universe when possible.) Thann-uh-tay, no "nate"

I came home to the cutest rainbow card fromantic kwality570.  Bonus was it was a cute monster!!!  I was down in the dumps.. and this really picked me up!

You guys are too kind!  I really struggle liking anything I paint... all I ever see are the flaws... (but I kept trying)  I never took art in school.. I wasn't talented enough.. now I draw lightly and erase a lot!
I was so worried no one would like my cards...

thanate - sorry to hear you were traumatized by them!

kwality - pretty rainbow monster card!  Smiley

Linda P - I'm mesmerized by your red glitter background.  Cheesy  I think everyone struggles with seeing the flaws in their art.  I know I do! I never had art in school either, I just enjoy making it.  I love your cards and I'm so glad you joined in!

I was an Art major in college.  Fine art.  Along with an English major and a minor in art history.  Do I want to teach?  No.  Should I have gone for that graphic design degree instead?  Probably.  Do I still paint?  Not really.

So my degree wasn't particularly useful and my crafting is okay.  I wouldn't worry about it at all.  My friend never went to college and she talks about it sometimes, but I'm like, "Hey, I'm a stay at home mom, and you get to be an awesome librarian."  So, it doesn't really matter, as long as you enjoy it Grin
