I made some old beaded flats into ruby slippers for my Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) costume!



I masked off the back, sprayed them with an oxide red primer that sticks to cloth, plastic, and glass.





Then I used the Krylon red glitter spray paint which seems to have worked a treat!



I didn't use the prescribed glitter topcoat, because I want to keep this cheap so we'll see how they look at the end of the night.

I made the dress a couple years ago as a muslin to test a pattern.
