I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

I've been making books and folios for a few months and found that I really enjoy the process. Especially if it is going to be a Hallowe'en or cat book. Instead of putting this on the Papercraft board, I thought it ought to go here because inside the folio is a fun decoration.

The folio opens out and on the bottom is a removable card with a spinning dial on the side so the cat's message can be changed. (See how I snuck a cat in there?)

On the top of the folio is the fun part; an accordion folded string of spooky silhouettes!

Looks kinda cool with a tea light illuminating the images. To make the silhouettes, I used a pre-made accordion strip of black card stock from Alpha Stamps and drew images on the back with a white pencil. I cut out all of the negative space, just like you would when carving pumpkins.

After the images were cut, I adhered orange vellum on the backs, and that's about it.

It is nice the entire thing is 4" x 4 3/4" and pretty flat, so it could easily be mailed. Fun stuff!

I can't believe you hand cut those! They look amazing!!! I love that spider the most. And the cat card. You went the extra mile with the phrase changes. I love it. This is destined to be a treasured item.

What a terrific piece of halloween decor!  All the tiny details were cut out by hand?  Awestruck!
