I've had the files and papers for this project for awhile and decided yesterday was the day to make them!

I used my Cricut Explore to cut the files I purchased from svgcuts and my Sizzix Big Shot to texture the orange and tan background papers as well as the brighter red piece of his turkey face.

I am really smitten with the teal buffalo check paper that I used for the envelopes!

And now I'll wait at least a month before sending them!  Roll Eyes

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Lovely turkey card! The texture of the background papers really make it pop. Your recipients are so lucky!

The colors you chose for this card really capture the colors of a turkey (we have a wild flock that roams around my neighborhood... which always surprises me since I live in a city), and I really like how the orange pops against the teal envelope. And really, Thanksgiving really is a holiday that deserves more cards!

Thank you. I really stuck pretty close to the designer's suggestions for colors on this one which I don't necessarily do most of the time. We also have a wild flock in our neighborhood, but since we live in the woods that's not so surprising! They aren't native here, though.
