necklace-Oct-2019 by Jeanne, on Flickr

Needle and wet felted necklace. Mostly an experiment with using some lovely Merino lace weight yarn and learning to wet felt around an armature (shaker ball). The sari silk ribbon ended up not being as strong as I would have liked so I will probably replace it.

This necklace is beautiful and intriguing. I really want to touch it and play with the different beads!

Thank you!!  Cheesy

I was pleased that the Merino yarn that I used didn't lose its color when wet felted.
Earlier this year I purchased some gorgeous irregularly spun, variegated yarn for projects only to find that when wet felted the colors became dull.
