That thing is super cool! So swirly and nicely planned out. Do you have a hard ring of some kind in the middle, or just wrapped warn? Where did you start working? I kind of want a pattern, but I'm a pretty confident crocheter, so I would totally settle for a few hints and tips, if you would! Cheesy

@EriChanHime, I'm not sure what pattern ilovesnails used, but I did one in the past (seen here) with this pattern to make a very similar (but larger) swirl.  I used a 14" macrame hoop for the outer ring, and the inner ring was done around a standard keychain split ring.

Earrings would be cool. I recently scored another set of teeny weeny tatting crochet hooks at my favourite thrift store in Leaminton Wink.
