I hate football, like, with a passion.  I love all other sports but football gets me so angry I can't even watch it anymore (my opinion is they should score every time they have possession-TOTALLY unrealistic but I love high scoring sports)
SO on Sundays I resign myself to the kitchen (much to my family's pleasure)
First up we have bacon wrapped krab
Super simple appetizer
1-34 oz. package imitation krab meat
1-16 oz. pack of bacon (regular cut, not thick)
brown sugar (maybe 2 tbsp.)
Separate krab meat and cut bacon into thirds.  Wrap each piece of meat in bacon and place on baking sheet.  Sprinkle very lightly with brown sugar. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes. Serve as is or with Hollandaise sauce

Next we had to have dessert, bring on the stroopwafels!  A delightful Dutch treat and I just happened to have this waffle maker in my closet for YEARS and had no idea what to make with it:

I used this Pinterest recipe and it was sooooooo tasty!!!
The finished product:

Stroopwafel! There are lots of Dutch in our city so these are available fresh in a few places. They are SO GOOD!
