Wow!  That is so unique.  I love the fabric choices.

I finally settled on an idea and made five fabric beads.  Im sure not all will make the final cut.  Its definitely a learning process.  It is fun to make one bead at a time without a real plan and just go wherever it takes me.

I have some ideas but I think I'll need to tinker in my craft room today to get some fun things made and see what happens.  Cheesy

I hope its not too much of a spoiler if I share a progress picture.  Im very new to fabric beads.  Ive probably made a dozen, but they were all tiny and of the same style.  This ball bead is new to me and I thought it was a really cool technique.  My one problem is, how do you make a hole?  I didn't want to jam a needle all the way through it. Then I remembered the eye screws in my desk at school.  Science teachers hoard weird things just like crafters.  They screwed right in.  I added a dab of glue to to anchor them.  Perfect!  I dont think the bead is done.  Ill add more floss or beads, or something.  But at least Ive solved the most practical problem.  Thanks for letting me share, folks.  My husband has no interest in my creative pursuits and just doesnt understand tiny little victories like this.  Cheesy

That is a very clever solution. You can also wire wrap an eye pin which might be a bit more secure since it goes right through the bead. Here's a video, it's a very east technique to learn.

And also, your bead looks great!
