This is my daughter's baby quilt.  I pieced it over 2 years ago, but she showed up early, and I'm just now able to get back to sewing. (Sewing with tiny humans around is hard. I don't recommend it.)  The quilt features fussy cut sections from a little golden books panel, and scrappy fabrics from my stash.  It's backed with minky and has a scrappy binding.  As always, the batting is Dream Cotton. The quilt finishes at 40x50-inches.  It was pieced on my Singer Quantum and quilted using my Featherweight.

Thanks!  These also come in several other books.  If you search "golden books fabric" on etsy - https://www.etsy.com/search?q=golden%20books%20fabric&ref=auto1&as_prefix=golden%20books%20fa, you should find them.

I made a fabric book once, the Tawny Scrawny Lion, one of my fave stories. I mailed it to a friend in a big package of baby goodies but she never got it, somebody stole it right of her porch. Sad but true. I made something to replace it but that was pretty tragic. They are such cute little squares of nostalgic goodness. Totally adorable idea to use them for a quilt.
