I so have to look up those lotion bars! I made toilet bombs that are okay. Once our dishwasher soap (for in the machine) is gone I'll make some of that too!

I'm also a thrift diver, sadly we don't have as large thrift centers as the US. We are building our first home in February so I am already on the look out to free, cheap items, which we love, and can recycle. Plus with our 3 guinea pigs, I'm always on the look out for old blankets that I can turn into tunnels and bedding and stuff!

For home stuff we utilize Habitat for Humanity Restore often.  Do you have one locally?

I'm quite a thrifty shopper, luckily we have a dozen thrift stores within fifteen minutes of my apartment. I go multiple times a week, all the toys I've gotten for my LO have all been thrifted. a couple dozen toys and nothing over $3!

I also get kitchen stuff, craft supplies and most of my clothes at thrift stores! My amazing find recently was nearly a whole bolt of fusible fleece for $3. Now I just need time to sew!

I need to check out the restore, they just moved our to right next to the best goodwill In the area!

I need to pull my cotton yarn out that I got to make dishcloths, I can work on them when LO is playing!

I have yarn

I've been quite the lurker - sorry! I am really excited that this has turned into a craft-a-long, too.
I've made make up remover pads, soap savers, washcloths, face lotion (though I want to find a less greasy recipe that doesn't use coconut oil), bath salts, and soap.  I want to make un-paper towels, reusable produce bags, lotion bars, and those crazy sponges. Smiley

Has anyone made the reusable trash bin liners yet? I have to use special bigger town trash bags to put it out for pick up but I would like to use smaller bin liners for in the house if possible to avoid double bagging the garbage.

I haven't made liners, but I generally only put a bag in the kitchen and a big one in the garage. All other trash receptacles are solid containers that get washed when they get eewy. And the kitchen trash tends to stay pretty clean, actually, since we compost. Any meat or cheese wrappers get bundled in a bread or coffee bean bag in the freezer to keep them stink-free and out of the clutches of our nosy feline.

I loooove thrift stores, and the Habitat for Humanity store. Clothes, and a lot of my crafting materials.
I do need to be more frugal/less waste...I know there'll be good ideas in this thread!
