Looky looky!  I received a fantabulous box of swap goodies from fatewineroses today Cheesy

First up, we have the amazing journal cover  Shocked  She opted to go with the science theme and boy did she do a fab job.  fatewineroses, your embroidery skills are phenomenal.  She also catered to my love of patchwork...and she distressed bits of the cover with bleach.  Love this!  Oh, and bling!  She crafted a beautiful essential oil charm with a mix of vintage beads and crystals.

Close-up of the gorgeous hand embroidered panel.  fatewineroses, your choice of embroidery thread colors is on point!  I adore my new journal cover Smiley

And here's the interior.  She chanced upon the perfect fabric for me (I would know because I have about 6 yards of this in my stash Wink).
Extra elastic cords were sent to give me options on how I would like to finish the cover.  I selected the blue elastic cords for my set-up.

What's a journal cover without inserts?  She made me a couple of folders and two notebooks - one with mixed media paper and one with dotted paper.  I am all good to go!

And page markers...a lovely selection of different styles of page markers to keep me organized.

She also sent me some yummy tea (apparently, we both love our cuppas).  But the real gem is the pretty teacup bookmark she embroidered.  I love this so much!

And various extras she threw in the box...3 x 4 cards, washi tape and stickers Grin

fatewineroses, thank you so much for being my partner in crime for this swap.
I really love everything you crafted for me and I know I will enjoy using my new journal cover and accessories.  Thanks!   Kiss

L2e...I love it when a plan comes together! I was very pleased with how it turned out. It felt good and solid in my hand, and the emblem turned out better than I had hoped! Im so happy that you like it.  Smiley

I want to thank loves2experiment for continuing on with the swap, despite it just being me and her. We've swapped before, so I was really looking forward to this swap.

I have to say that I have to apologize to my partner. I have *never* asked for anything specific in a swap. I don't really think that's what swaps are about. But I did this time. I specifically asked for a Louise from Bob's Burgers TN Cover. Usually, if I have an image in my head, I leave it to myself to make that vision come true. I don't know what prompted me to be very specific this time, but I am so very glad my partner was able to come through for me. The longer we were into this swap, the more we were both putting together. Paper is not my forte usually. I accumulated some paper this time around...along with some tools I have always wanted, but never purchased.

I was overwhelmed by the package the loves2experiment sent me. It was a small, but tightly packed box that was seriously heavy. Packed with SO much goodness, you are going to be sad you passed up this swap!

The list of what l2e sent me goes as follows:

- TN cover that has three bookmarks and is rainbow stringed
- 3 charms
- 2 regular 2-pocket folder inserts
- 2 envelope pocket folder inserts
- SIX inserts
- 1 folder that has two pockets, a washi tape holder, a sticky tab holder and a notepad on the front
- 1 fabric insert that has two file pockets and one zippered pocket
- 2 packs of washi tape
- 6 flag page markers
- 5 paperclip page markers
- 5 cute binder clips (covered in washi?)
- 2 magnetic bookmarks
- a stack of small punched tabs
- 2 pens

Now on to the pictures!

I asked for a Louise from Bobs Burgers skull and crossbones. It is an A5 size that can fit more than EIGHT inserts!! It is MASSIVE!!!

She included three charms. A bee (I love bees!) with a follow your bliss charm. A rainbows (I LOVE rainbows!!!) charm. And a baby Stitch charm with beads!

SIX inserts. Some dotted, some blank.

Solemn kitty page markers

An awesome folder with a built in washi tape holder! Ingenious!!! Ive never seen anything like this. It also includes a note pad and page marker post its!

A set of regular, two pocket folders

A set of pocket folders

A Stitch fabric insert. It has two file pockets on one side and a zipper pocket on the other. Beautiful work!

A stack of tabs made from pretty paper!

Beautiful set of flag page Markers!

Super cute decorated binder clips.

y

And finally, another pic of the cover...so you can REALLY see how massive this thing of beauty is!!!

Thank you very very very much loves2experiment!

These are AWESOME!!! I'm so glad you went ahead with the swap even though it was just y'all. You knocked this out of the park. The science fabric and embroidery together is so cute and perfect, and the bunny ear logo is spot on!

I definitely prefer to organize my personal life journal/To Do lists in a very different structure, but I love looking at this style of journal and all the cool ways they can come together and be tricked out and accessorized. I hope to see project posts from you both when you have a chance. Wink
