I feel so lucky to have gotten this experience!  And yeah, EriChanHime , even though I've seen this done on TV many times, I've never really even thought of it as something I could try myself!! 

I also like the splatters (like in the upper left hand corner), just not the drips that came from drying (coming from the bottom of the top horizontal stroke, for example).  But they don't bother me that much; they're just one thing I'd try to avoid if I did it again. Smiley

After 15 years in Japan, I'll be moving back to the states in December, so I'm trying to make the most of my last year in Japan!

After 15 years in Japan, I'll be moving back to the states in December, so I'm trying to make the most of my last year in Japan!

Wow! I was only there for two years, but coming back to America was a huge shock. I hope your last several months there are amazing and full of wonderful memories.

 This is incredible! I think it would be an amazing wall hanging. I love the drips and splatters. It adds to the story and uniqueness.
