Can you believe this is a real creature? Doesn't it look like a toy? Ack, nature is weirder than I will ever be!

I honestly think that making ATCs has unlocked more creativity in me than anything else has ever, ever, been able to do. Those little tiny low-commitment cards that have no rules let you play and try out things you otherwise might never allow yourself. There's such freedom in that. Even so, at first it felt impossible. I can be an overly organized Capricorn, I like to feel like I'm doing things "right" but there isn't such a thing with ATCs. Anything goes, literally. You are allowed to be completely random, unstructured, experimental, stretch yourself. What's the worst that can happen, you make something really weird? That is entirely the point! It's changed me, how I work as a crafter and an artist. It's unlocked something in me that I was holding onto very tightly. I feel good. I will be forever grateful for this website and the fabulous people who make and trade ATCs and have organized the ongoing swaps over the years. And I am never going to stop making them, not ever. They are the best go to when I need a quick crafty fix and I just love them.

I'm not online as much as I used to be, don't panic if it takes a while for me to reply to things Smiley.

Nice arrangement!  I'm glad that making ATCs has made you feel more free about the creation/artistic process.  I always get bogged down in details and nitpicking regardless of what I'm doing--unlike Elsa, I can't ever let it go. Cheesy
