Made for JoyfulClover in her favourite "off" colours.

I just happened to have been given some wonderful little pieces of odd fabric by a friend who used to work for the Textile Museum in Toronto. They are really interesting patterns and colour combos but too small to do much with. I thought a little lined zipper pouch might be useful and entertaining for my friend Smiley.

There are rows of straight stitches and a few randomly spaced pin tucks, maybe you can see the texture of those here:

And inside is this completely hilarious paint by numbers nature scene fabric. Look, a pony! lol

Also, that perfectly shaded zip? I scored that just the other day in several baggies of zippers from a thrift store for a bargain price. I'd been wondering what was taking me so long to finish that pouch but all along I'd been unknowingly waiting on that fortuitous shopping trip. I love when that happens Smiley.

I'm not online as much as I used to be, don't panic if it takes a while for me to reply to things Smiley.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

Your pouches are always so expertly constructed and this is no exception. And yey to the fortuitous zipper finder excursion!

That is amazing! I love the fabrics being so retro. Very cool indeed.
